My first pair were the tamiya sharp pointed side cutter 74035 and there is very little difference between the two cutters with the exception of these having slightly longer cutting blades.
Reviewed in the united states on january 9 2018 i upgraded to this tamiya nipper from a pair of xurons i ve been using since the fall of the roman empire and this tool is a huge improvement in my opinion.

There is little to no sanding of nubs required after the cut due to the sharpness and the nice flat side.

The sharp jaw blades offer an excellent cutting edge and they have a slightly slimmer jaw than previous tamiya plastic cutter products enabling easier removal of smaller parts which have less clearance.
I recommend them over the xuron 2175 shears for fine work as i use the xuron shears first to remove the part from the spur and then use the tamiya cutters to remove the gate from the part leaving very little to be sanded.
